We are a well-established gliding club offering gliding experiences not only to Danish students and pilots, but also to pilots who speak English.

Our club is located at Herning Airport, where we have our own grass runway, clubhouse, workshop, and hangar. In terms of thermals, our location is excellent; the thermals often begin here, making it ideal for long-distance flights across Jutland.

Currently, we are training two students who only speak English. This is an important task for us, not only to promote gliding but also as part of the international community present at Herning Airport.

We fly every weekend and public holiday from March through October. Additionally, there are plenty of opportunities to fly during weekdays. Week 29 is a particularly special week, where many of our pilots and their families participate, and there is also space for pilots with their own aircraft. During this week, we fly from sunrise to sunset on one day – an incredible experience to start the day with a sunrise flight.
